Salesloft is our main sales engagement tool. We use it for all our cadencing to new prospects and renewing customers. Over 200 reps are using it with much success. We also utilize their deal management feature as well, which has helped us to identify red flags on deals and gives us insight into where to focus our efforts.

  • The dialer number occassionally is different than what we built, this causes confusion and us getting tagged with "SPAM". To Saleslofts credit, they addressed it immediately and it's gotten much better.
It's easy to build, the support is excellent, and it's simple to execute. Having Salesloft in place gives us some room to experiment by allowing us to leverage insight: what is and isn't working. Leads are precious, and being able to put them through a system that we can customize and monitor is really, really helpful.

We utilize Salesloft on a daily basis to import leads from Salesforce. These leads are added to cadences for personalized outreach including emails, LinkedIn, and call steps. As a manager of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Salesloft allows us to ensure a timely reach out to prospects creating opportunities for use to drive conversations that turn into meetings with Account Executives. This in turn creates a potential funnel of customers that add to our pipeline and increase our revenue forecast. We also use the statistics portion of Salesloft, along with the Live Studio to track metrics and success and give feedback on performance conversations, respectively.

Salesloft is well suited for inbound/outbound sales teams where reporting on cadences and the activity is super important in determining the best messaging and outreach strategy. Salesloft was great at DoorDash for scheduling emails, and sending out the equivalent of mail merges. We used it as sales managers to set up calls and create tasks or reminders, and it also helped us as a team with keeping an organized pipeline. I found the program very user friendly.

I used Salesloft as my primary tool for outreach for around a year. The goal was to manage sales campaigns where we would reach out to customers by phone and email so that we could ultimately set up a discovery meeting. It was also important to us to use the dialer within the platform.

Our sales department uses SalesLoft to assist in the automation of dialing and emailing. It helps to create completed tasks in SalesLoft so we don't have to manually log each call and email that is sent out. It also helps to automatically add dispositions to a call, like if we spoke to the decision maker or their receptionist or if we left a voicemail. It helps to standardize that and leaves no guesswork as to what happened on a call. We also utilize SalesLoft to create email templates and automate the email process.
  • Email automation is a huge boon. Templates can be shared between different teams so something the outbound team has can certainly be used by the SDR team in certain cases.
  • Standardized call dispositions take the guesswork out of what happened on a call and ensure everyone is on the same page.
  • Provides a dialer that is connected directly to Salesforce so I can stay in Salesforce and not have to use a separate website or app to dial out.
  • The Salesforce sidebar could use some work. There's no option to sort due cadences by Time Zone without clicking through into the cadence. I would like the option to sort by Time Zone first.
  • There's no option for Canadian phone numbers for the local dialer. It always shows up as a Boston number, which weirds out my Canadian clients.
  • People are removed from a cadence the moment they respond to you via email. It's a pain to go back and add them back into the specific step of the cadence I have them in. I'd prefer the option to turn that on or off.
SalesLoft is great if you're looking to take a lot of the manual work out of the sales process, like calling out and drafting emails. Just utilize templates to make your life a lot easier there. Having used other email automation software, SalesLoft is so much easier to use. It easily captures the merge fields and adds the necessary information--I rarely ever have to manually edit the information.

SalesLoft is being implemented with many divisions inside sales teams. This tool is allowing us a way to create a better strategy for targeting customers. It takes the guesswork out of who to contact and when. It organizes our day so we simply dial the phone and are able to follow-up after. Everything is saved in one place and since it talks with salesforce we are able to document and track all activities on and with either system.

As a salesperson, I am using SalesLoft for my communication with already established customers as an information tool and for new prospects for outreach to find new customers. It is used by sales and inside sales to reach as many people as possible.
  • It sends out emails after each other; they do not get blocked from institutes if you send them to more people in one institute

We use Salesloft on our Growth Team (Sales) primarily for outbound campaigns targeting prospects, as well as ongoing nurturing campaigns. Salesloft makes our jobs easier by automating the steps in the outreach to keep us on track with multi-step cadences, and it helps us have an overview of the total outreach activity that has occurred or is planned for all of the contacts at a prospect account.

  • Enables automated outreach at scale, that can also be personalized to the prospect.
  • Strong integrations with Salesforce and Gmail.
  • Alerts you when you attempt to put someone on multiple cadences.
  • Some small tasks I would like to be easier that are not available.
  • Does not show the entire activity on the account if it happens outside of the Salesloft cadence.
  • I wish it enabled more rich content - embed images, videos, articles, GIFs in the emails.
  • The Reminders system does not connect me to the cadence or area of activity where the task needs to be completed.
Salesloft works really well for outbound prospecting cadences and follow-up or ongoing nurturing cadences/drip campaigns. The system works well for managing direct rep-to-prospect outreach and is not a replacement for marketing software (e.g. one-to-many communications that may be integrated with the website, prospect interactions, downloads, and lead scoring.)

SalesLoft is being used globally by the Business Development Organization. We use the platform to help us find net new business and respond promptly to inbound leads. SalesLoft helps us create strategic cadences that optimizes our outreach efforts. We can create different campaigns/cadences and tailor our efforts to specific audiences. Thanks to the automation tools we can do this so easily.

It is being used across the Inside Sales & Regional Sales Division. It makes keeping track of a huge number of leads/prospects/accounts seamless. It drives efficiency and promotes productivity. It is a brilliant organisational and sales tool. It must save me multiple hours of work everyday. Keeping on top of this many leads with such grace and care wouldn't be possible without it.

Lot of use cases, streamlines my entire sales work flow allows for great lead management with a vast quantity of leads, far more than I would be able to manage with out it. SalesLoft actually helps drive all of my sales admin tasks and give me complete confidence no lead will get lost in the matrix. The tool is flexible supports great sales integrations such as Vidyard and LinkedIn, it is the hub of my daily workflow.

SalesLoft is used by the inside sales team. We use it to follow up with prospects and track deals. Almost all outbound communication with customers goes through SalesLoft with the Inside Sales team.

SalesLoft helps us stay organized throughout the outreach process and allows us to automate many of the tasks that can be time-consuming.
  • Integrations are great.
  • Love the click, view and replied tracking.
  • SalesLoft does what you want it to do without being overly complicated.
  • A way to distinguish between real clicks and views vs. mail filters would be great.
  • Integration between Deals and Cadence could be better. For example, it would be great if I could dial the prospect directly out of the deals view, instead of having to search for that person in the cadence view.
SalesLoft is great for outbound prospecting and has very powerful integrations with other tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn, etc. SalesLoft is also a very powerful tool for analyzing what prospecting strategies work best across the team and make information sharing much easier. The way that we use SalesLoft right now is not the best for engaging with responsive deals that can be slow in the process. The "book a meeting" interface works but can be a little cumbersome.

SalesLoft is being used across a few segments of our business. The Sales Development team, the Account Executive/ Account Managers and a few members of the customer success team. It is used as an organization tool and also to automate outreach, and account management through email and call cadences. It allows users to easily log their activities within our CRM through direct integration.

  • Cadences allow users to intelligently manage and coordinate outreach efforts to new and existing prospects.
  • Email automation, lets users personalize at scale.
  • Integrations with Salesforce, Owler etc. provide insights into new and existing accounts.
  • Some of the email notifications get confusing if there are others copied on correspondence.
  • Overall very happy with Salesloft, having a hard time thinking of things I wish it did better.
Sales development representatives using cadences to coordinate/ plan their outreach is very effective. The leads they are reaching out to are generally warm/come from events. Being able to quickly and easy follow up with them is key to their success. As an account executive I generally use SalesLoft as a dialer through salesforce and to log email activities through Gmail.

Across the organization as a phone and email log, as well as cadences. It allows for production to move faster and to analyze and log information. Super great resource.

Once you know how to use SalesLoft, it is a wonderful tool for the marketer and manager to utilize for training and success. It also saves time with search to call volume. Cadences are still a bit cumbersome with the layout, but once you get the hang of it, it can be a daily benefit to reach customers while you are calling.

SalesLoft is being used by the entire sales dept. The challenge is to touch as many prospects you can in a day/week/month. SalesLoft helps solve that challenge with email automation.

Cisco Meraki sales teams use SalesLoft for targeted customer and partner cadences to generate outbound campaigns, generate revenue opportunities, do monthly newsletters, drive attendance to events, and much more! It's an awesome tool that allows us to reach a broad (and targeted) audience in just a few easy steps. The ability to easily import a CSV file from Salesforce to SalesLoft, tag it to a SalesLoft cadence, and send hundreds of emails with the click of a few buttons is amazing. I would not be able to effectively do my job without SalesLoft!

We are using SalesLoft primarily for our Inside Sales Team to prospect for business with prospective clients. We also use the tool to facilitate regular outreach to our partners to keep them appraised of our offerings and how best to team for success.
  • Reporting an Analytics are very strong
  • The user interface is easy to use and intuitive
  • Safeguards are in place to reduce likelihood of being blocked
  • The restriction of 1000 emails per day is frustrating for teams that are processing high volumes. Appropriate spacing of emails can still be attained at higher volumes
  • Would like to see an integration to send LinkedIn inmail from Salesloft natively
SalesLoft is well suited for sales teams that want to engage in multiple mediums for engagement with clients and prospects. It is less well suited for bulk email campaigns if you need super high volumes. We use SalesLoft to AB test and use its superior reporting to plan a broader campaign and assess metrics and then use a secondary platform to augment for high volume situations.

It makes it easier for us to track and manage communication with potential clients, as well as for inbound leads to contact us and book time in our calendars.

It also allows us to keep track of our activity and monitor where we need to make more effort!

SalesLoft is one of the best sales tracking solutions for calls and emails and integrates fantastically with our CRM or the CRM of your choice.

The cadence set up and process is also one of the easier ones to use.

The Business Development area uses the tool to register contacts, positioning, calls, e-mails, and cadences. I have no problems to address. It is a very robust and reliable tool as well as being very intuitive and friendly. I am particularly pleased to use it. I recommend it to other users within the company.

SalesLoft is used across our entire company for calling, cadences, and emailing. There are many features like snippets, templates, reminders and such that I think we could utilize more, but overall it is very effective for us. It addresses the business problem of quick and easy CRM management. I really like the feature of being able to look up companies, write, notes, and also call/email.
  • User-Interface: I think it has a great layout and is easy, friendly to use.
  • Cadences: These make it super easy/efficient to organize your prospects and customers.
  • Email: The email features are great which make it easier when you can have certain templates to choose from or snippets.
  • I think everything is pretty great, I just feel there is a lot about the product I am unaware of, or how to work those features.
  • When you have imported a lot of people into SalesLoft, and maybe you forget who some are, it can be difficult to find these people or remember where they are.
I think [SalesLoft] is very easy to use, which makes your prospecting/account management easier. On top of this, it is great for email writing with different templates you can create. The over functionality of it is fun and easy and makes your organization a lot better.

We leverage SalesLoft exclusively with our Inside Sales organization. This group includes SDR's and ISR's which is roughly 100 users. SalesLoft is the primary tool used for almost all sales engagements. It's a central part of our email and phone based outreach efforts. Our team handles inbound and outbound leads from our prospects and customers alike.
  • Salesloft Cadences were a game changer for us. It's now considered table stakes for any sales engagement platform.
  • Automation Rules were huge for the Operations and IT teams - less clicks in SFDC and predictable patterns gave us the data we needed.
  • Their support has been spectacular with our regular requests for customization and help within the app.
  • With great tools comes great responsibility - you NEED training and enablement for this tool.
  • Being able to get a dialer phone number in a desired area is spotty, some of our major markets never have a number available in that area code.
  • It'd be great if we could change the Person layouts - there's information that we'd like to display and we're limited to just showing a few custom fields.
SalesLoft is a great application to get started on with Sales engagement. If you find yourself in a position where you have to be more targeted and coordinated with prospecting activities, SalesLoft definitely satisfies the requirements. Our inside sales team has found a lot of success with it and it's difficult to imagine moving to a platform that doesn't have the same feature set.
